Abstract
The book is divided into two parts. The first half provides an excellent overview of artificial intelligence and knowledge systems which requires little previous experience with the subject. The second half develops an expert system shell in FORTH and PROLOG and requires a basic knowledge of programming and data structures to be fully utilized.
