Abstract
Summary: STATISTICAL SOFTWARE TOOLS is a statistical package with procedures for descriptive statistics, scatterplots, crosstabulations, and several kinds of regressions. Although the software and manual have some rough edges, this inexpensive package does most of what it is supposed to do quickly and fairly reliably. Its strengths are its speed and its ability to perform types of regression missing from most microcomputer statistical packages. Weaknesses include the absence of a broad range of statistical methods, some errors in the manual, and inconsistent output.
