Abstract
THOR is an idea processor that allows users to store ideas and retrieve them using preassigned category labels or full text searches. Ideally suited to collecting and organizing class or observational notes, managing research and other projects, and recording flashes of inspiration or other potentially usable ideas, THOR combines the capabilities of word processing and freeform textual data management. Ease of use and simplicity of design make this a useful alternative to larger text management programs for many applications.
