Abstract
STAT 1 is a menu-driven statistical package that contains excellent data management software including a full-screen editor for entering data, documentation about data, or detailed labels for variables or values. The package allows for extensive data manipulations, and includes descriptive statistics, histograms, scatter-grams, contingency table analysis, parametric and non-parametric difference in means testing, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, ANOVA, MANOVA, and smallest space analysis, a form of multidimensional scaling.
