Abstract
Summary: OFFIX is better suited to the needs of small businesses than social scientists. Even with the online-tutorial and numerous help screens, this integrated software package is not easier to master than WordStar or PeachText. Its use of "file drawers" and "file folders" can be an annoyance rather than a benefit. Finally, the necessity of disk-swapping negates the advantages of integrated word processing, file management, and report generation.
