Abstract
Thirteen management science applications are covered: linear programming, transportation model problems, assignment models, project scheduling (PERT), minimum spanning trees, maximum flow problems, shortest route problems, Bayesian probability, expected, or, value analysis, decision tree analysis, Markov models, inventory models, and queuing models. A microcomputer program is available for each, with sample data available for the first problem in each chapter. Students may also enter their own data, but may not save it for later re-use. All programs are of the bare-essentials type, but often this is best for teaching purposes.
