Abstract
On the assumption that not all interesting and useful information is published, in press, or even publishable, the editors offer this informal section of news and notes for letters or announcements of ongoing research, observations of general interest, and little gems culled from neglected sources. Readers are encouraged to send along bits of information and to communicate with each other on topics of mutual interest. Notes and information should be sent to Peter K.
