This paper summarizes the design, content, and implementation of a faculty development program in microcomputers at Ball State University. Three levels of training, ranging from elementary BASIC programming through advanced applications of microcomputers, are described. Special considerations and problems that can arise when working with faculty in this area such as "student role phobia" and "computer phobia" are discussed and remedial strategies are noted.
