Abstract
In an attempt to make a dent in filling the almost half-million computer-related jobs that went unfilled last year, U.S. companies have discovered a vast, untapped pool of technology talent in Russia and Eastern Europe. Each year, more IT workers from these countries are demonstrating both professional and personal success in the U.S. technological marketplace. In spite of the many potential barriers they face in working here, the author explains why they are meeting with so much success.
