Abstract
Cash-based incentives have predominantly been manually calculated and administered through spreadsheets—a time-intensive process prone to costly error. With the right incentive and compensation software, the compensation and benefits manager can bring major cost savings to a company by automating, managing and tracking the process effectively. Software programs provide an enterprise-level application capable of modeling, creating, managing and reporting on the whole variable compensation process with a scalable, flexible, automated and easy-to-use system. Ultimately, this helps optimize revenue over all selling channels, grow profitability, align tactics with corporate strategy and optimize a complex business process that drives the bottom line.
