Abstract
The aim of the exploratory study described in this article was to develop and apply an instrument to measure differential treatment of social service managers based on sex. Through a content analysis of audiotapes, the differential use of modes of address, interruptions, and time allocations and the use of exclusionary and negative language were recorded.
