The Effects of Migration on Planning in Canada,Mexico,and the United States: An Annotated Bibliography

Abstract

This bibliography provides abstracts of recent publications on the effects of immigration and emigration. Planning journals form the core of citations included, but important references from economics, sociology, and political studies also are incorporated. The focus is on the contiguous countries of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Most of the articles abstracted here look at the effects of immigration and emigration within a country or within a smaller area's borders; the rest deal with immigration and emigration from an international perspective.
