Abstract
This bibliography synthesizes literature on growth management published between 2000 and 2010 in selected planning periodicals. Scholarship on growth management during the last decade, as evidenced in the selected journals, has blossomed within six primary categories: smart growth, urban form, environment and sustainability, participation and public opinion, tools and techniques, and analysis and evaluation. This bibliography also attends to disciplinary topics that reach outside the exclusive purview of planners and which are treated more comprehensively in nonplanning journals. This synthesis of the planning periodical literature helps mark boundaries of planners’ attention to topics of growth management during the last decade.
