Abstract
The International School of Neurological Sciences, located on the island of San Servolo, Venice, Italy, was founded at the beginning of the Decade of the Brain, in 1990. The school is divided into sections, which meet periodically. The invited speakers are known worldwide for their work in the field of the neurological sciences. Dr Paolo Curatolo (Rome) is the chairperson of the Child Neurology Section and has always devoted great effort to the organization of international courses and workshops. The Eighth Annual Conference on Diagnostic Procedures and Techniques in Child Neurology was held as a satellite meeting of the Eighth ICNA Congress, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
