The case history of a 4-year-old boy with an intraneural ganglion of the common peroneal nerve is presented. These lesions are rare, more commonly affect males, and typically present with a painful foot-drop. A mass is often palpable adjacent to the neck of the fibula. Our patient has made a good recovery after surgery. (J Child Neurol 1995;10:213-215).
