La sensibilité à la promotion est une variable qui suscite de plus en plus d'intérêt dans la littérature. Pourtant très peu de chercheurs se sont attachés à la définir. Ils sont passés tout de suite à sa mesure. Cette absence de définition fait aujourd'hui défaut. Aussi avons-nous essayé de proposer notre propre définition de la sensibilité à la promotion, après avoir mis en évidence les grandes dimensions de ce concept.
