La musique affectant le comportement du consommateur, une recherche a été conduite dans deux bars (en zone rurale et urbaine) pour tester l'effet du volume sur le consommateur. Une intensité sonore élevée induit une consommation plus importante. L'hypothèse d'un effet « d'activation » pourrait expliquer ces résultats.
