Abstract
The structure of public opinion in France in 1985 - surveys and methodology. By the use of a systematic selection process for questionnaire construction and a rigorous methodology controlling for the known sources of survey variability and bias, these successive surveys since 1977 furnish a detailed representation of how French public opinion is stably structured around a specific field of conflicts.
