Abstract

Understanding Chi-square - Concerning Introduction aux Méthodes Statistiques en Sociologie by Thierry Blöss and Michel Grossetti. Related to this introductory statistics book, several questions on how to teach the Chi-square are examined. The author proposes to not using the Chi-square test as a simple recipe but to help students understand that the Chi-square is homogeneous over a given sample and that basic attention should be made in its application.
