Abstract
Introduction:
Single hair grafts to the eyebrow, performed with a simple technique, offer today's cosmetic surgery patient a simple and natural-looking solution for alopecia of the eyebrow due to various causes, ranging from plucking and trauma to systemic and metabolic processes.
Methods:
We present a technique that requires simple instrumentation and the aid of 1 or 2 well-trained assistants. The procedure has been performed on 2 male and 18 female patients.
Results:
The procedure has resulted in a 96% graft survival rate, without complications, producing cosmetically pleasing outcomes.
Conclusions:
A simplified technique for eyebrow transplantation can easily and successfully effect a pleasing and natural look for today's cosmetic surgery patient.
