The author reports his current practices based upon a 2-year experience utilizing the NovaPulse™ CO2 laser and NovaScan™ handpiece (Luxar Corp., Bothell, Washington) for cosmetic skin resurfacing. Treatment practices have significantly evolved over this time period. Technical endpoints, routine postprocedure practices, problem measures, and current controversies are discussed.
