There is a subset of younger patients who display a ptotic chin. These patients often present with a deficiency in the anteroposterior chin projection, decreased chin height, heavy submental, upper, and lateral neck fat, and accentuation of the submental crease, as well as localized jowl fat and pre-jowl sulcus. A method of treatment that combines correction of both the hard- and soft-tissue deformities is presented.
