The author has modified the original slot correction techniques described by Dr. Frechet. By carrying out these modifications, tip necrosis and extensive undermining are prevented and more permanent hair is present along the anterior margin of the second transposition flap. The author has found the modification extremely beneficial and no complications have occurred to date.
