Abstract
In 1991 and at the 10th World Congress on Liposuction, Lipotransplant, and Lipocollagen, I reported my preliminary experience and the results obtained on 21 patients where I used fat to give contour to their legs. The fat is extracted mainly from the abdomen by the syringe method and an average of 60 cc is reimplanted to the hypotrophic areas of each leg. In this article I share my 5-year experience in 70 patients where a satisfactory long-term cosmetic result has been obtained. Case selection, indications, contraindications, and possible adverse effects are discussed.
