Abstract
Liposuction as such has the purpose of creating beauty by reducing the deformity of a human body through this scientific technique; therefore, it is essential to be aesthetically prepared to discriminate zones that deform or disfigure the human body. It is important to have a clear concept of what beauty is as such, through time and at present; to recognize the sense of proportion, cultural perspective, historical approach, customs, social objectivity, and artistic knowledge.
The obligation of incorporating into this specialty the art concept as a primordial component of the scientific training creates liposculpture of the human body and the knowledge that the final objective is to sculpt a human body with a scientific–artistic eye.
