Abstract
A uniform undetectable final result can be obtained from facial dermabrasion if (1) the entirety of the visible face is treated, and (2) the procedure is feathered gradually into untreated regions. This can be effected with the use of varying types of fraises and brushes for different regions of the face; by utilizing chemical peeling for the eyelids, lips, and neck; and by feathering the dermabrasion into the hairline and onto the earlobes, tragus, paranasal areas, and neck. The complete full-face dermabrasion is facilitated by a combination of anesthetic techniques.
