Abstract
Laminar Dermal Reticulotomy and dermabrasion are procedures often sought by noncaucasian patients for the amelioration of post acne scarring, post traumatic scarring, and the correction of dyschromias. Many surgeons simply deny these patients access to these procedures without the benefit of an in-depth history, physical examination and proper dermatopathological study to determine the depth of the pathology. A case is presented to stress more critical evaluation prior to patient rejection.
