Issues are raised concerning the reply by Cuellar and Price (1982) to my critique of their study on the effects of language on the expression of psychopathology in Mexican Americans. Methodological problems abound in this area of research, and Cuellar and Price have not clarified how their study circumvents the identified methodological problems.
