Abstract
Letters to the editor continue to contribute a robust grassroots debate on issues of community concern. Editorial page editors say letters sections are thriving. Lively letters from readers enhance the paper's credibility, they say, and attract readers who feel a participatory role in the paper. The problem? Not enough space.
