Abstract
This research addresses potential negative health effects uncovered in recent electromagnetic field (EMF) studies, applies their proportionate mortality rates, and determines po tential risks to Tarrant County, Texas. The following risk assessment and analysis addresses many of the rami fications by examining conflicting data from science, and by develop ing findings that 70,692 people or 10.71 percent of those who reside in the Fort Worth area may be subject to effective doses from EMF. Interim land use controls and setbacks are recommended along with new plan ning and land use criteria. Future re search and zoning relative to safety are proposed.
