Building on previous studies evaluating corporate recruiting webpages, this article presents the Government E-Recruitment Assessment Tool (GERAT). Using this tool, two analysts evaluate the e-recruiting efforts of state governments.The results of this analysis provide a snapshot of e-recruitment websites at one period in time. This tool provides guidance for future research and practice in the area of e-recruitment.
