The Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Cognitive Ability (WJTCA) are a relatively new collection of cognitive subtests employed in psychoeducational assessment. To allow a sounder foundation for individual subtest interpretation, the current research investigated certain critical psychometric properties of these subtests. Subtest g factor loadings and specificity (based on the WJTCA standardization data) are presented, as well as a procedure for systematic profile interpretation. Comparisons with similar WISC-R data are also presented.
