Abstract
With the growing number of college students seeking mental health services, it is imperative to have accurate assessment tools. One new measure, the Behavior Assessment System for Children-2, Self-Report of Personality, College Version (SRP-CV), has yet to be independently researched. This study examines the test—retest reliability of the SRP-CV. Convergent and discriminant validity are explored through multivariate analyses. Results indicate that the SRP-CV shows strong temporal stability. Several of the SRP-CV scales also correlate highly with other well-researched self-report measures. Overall, the SRP-CV shows promise as a multidimensional measure of behavior and personality. It makes a unique contribution to the arsenal of self-report measures currently available to clinicians working with the college population.
