A preliminary investigation of the feasibility of cement kiln incineration in Malaysia is presented together with a brief overview of the test results of cement kiln incineration in different countries. A brief overview of the hazardous waste problem in Malaysia is included. Opportunities and constraints of utilizing the existing cement kilns for waste disposal are examined and a scheme for the successful implementation of cement kiln incineration is presented.
