Abstract
The results of investigations on the utilisation of waste chromic materials for the production of sodium chromate have been presented. The optimal parameters of the sodium chromate production, which make it possible to select the best technological solutions, have been determined. A mathematical model based on a system of equations describing the process of sodium chromate production as a function of selected process parameters has been devised. This allows the values useful for a practical estimation of the process, such as mass balances, technological indicators and especially the quantity of the produced chromic waste, to be determined.
