Abstract
The composition of major types of waste powders and pollution during their long-term storage in military storehouses are shown. An analysis of the powder related problems and the types of their recycling and utilisation is proposed. The gaseous products released from incineration of two major types of powder under atmospheric pressure were measured. It is proposed to utilise the powders through processing in polymer mixtures for the production of paint materials. The coatings made thereof have standard characteristics with self-extinguishing and low-flammability-point properties. A diagram of installation for waste powder processing by wasteless technology is shown.
