Abstract
For the fifth consecutive year, the Review offers a selective survey of recent developments in correctional law. The case summaries below are from recently reported lower federal court decisions. The reader should remember that these decisions do not serve as binding precedent beyond the jurisdictions in which they were decided. Some of the decisions are being appealed and thus are subject to modifications or reversals. An update section at the end of the summaries reports on recent developments in cases summarized in the Review's previous correctional law survey.
All case summaries were prepared by Michael R. Neuenkirch, a third year law student, Georgia State University College of Law.
