Abstract
Three major branches of philosophy are of special relevance to education. Metaphysics is concerned with reality. Epistemology is concerned with the origin and nature of knowledge. Axiology is concerned with values. This article presents an approach to incorporation of axiological considerations into criminal justice education. Its thesis is that identification and understanding of the ends to be achieved by the administration of justice and the effects of individual and organizational behavior on those ends can be promoted through use of criminal justice-relevant literary and dramatic works.
