Abstract
This article examines administrative correlates of senior center programs in Israel. Ipresent interorganizational relationships, membership recruitment means, a staff profile, and evaluation of programs for the elderly, using scales of selected administrative functions and a measure of program scope. The data point to the prevalence of the informal participatory social club character of most senior center programs, as opposed to a more-formalized social agency format.
