Shrinkage and warpage analysis is now an important part of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) for injection molded components. The theory behind this anal ysis (including effects of crystallinity, orientation and cooling stress relaxation) is pre sented, along with a number of case studies showing the successful application of this technology.
