Abstract
Tests were performed to evaluate the effects of moisture and temperature on the com pressive and short beam shear properties of Fiberite T300/976 fabric. The maximum mois ture content was measured as a function of relative humidity and temperature. The diffusivity was determined as a function of temperature. The compressive and short beam shear strengths and moduli of dry and moisturized specimens were measured at 70, 250, and 350°F. The changes in these mechanical properties caused by drying after moisturiza tion and by subsequent remoisturization were also assessed.
