Abstract
In this paper, a one-parameter plasticity model is used for characterizing the plastic behavior of AS4/PEEK thermoplastic composites. Using the finite element program generator (FEPG), the three-dimensional one-parameter plasticity model which is not presented in the commercial codes is introduced into this system, and the relative finite element programs are developed. The interlaminar stresses of the AS4/PEEK thermoplastic laminate [0/90]s are computed and analyzed. The interlaminar stresses are presented in three ways: through the thickness, around the hole, and along the symmetric axes. The delamination locations are predicted.
