This report traces the diverse pathways along which concepts of success conflict have evolved since Freud considered it 65 years ago. Literature summaries, illustrations and suggestions to researchers, clinicians and conceptual thinkers are offered for establishing a broader, more integrated and more useful understanding of success conflict.
