This paper reports on a thirty-three year old single woman who committed neonaticide. The psychopathology of the offence is reviewed. The author warns of the possibilities of repetition of the offence, an eventuality which was most likely averted at the end of Miss H.'s third pregnancy, subsequent to the one which ended in neonaticide.
