It has come to the authors' attention that their book reviews included an error by the omission of 2 sentences on p 396, in the Paris review, and by the inclusion of those 2 sentences on p 397, in the Lantos review. The last 2 sentences in the Lantos review: “Tyrer's book gave mea feeling for the subject I would not have gleaned from clinical trials. Too much of the literature on clinical care is about ideals rather than reality, but this book is right down-to-earth.” were meant to be included at the end of the Paris review. The Canadian Journal of Psychiatry regrets the error and any inconvenience it might have caused.
