This article presents a careful study of the developmental process from dyadic relationships, individuation and separation through triadic towards group relations, bringing into focus both a severe schizoid person on her way towards interdependency and the group phenomena involved. At the same time the rediscovered modality of combined therapy has been taken into consideration.
