Nickel deficiency leads to reduced iron content in organs and to reduced hemoglobin levels and haematocrit counts. We carried out a clinical trial of oral hyposensitization therapy with low doses of nickel on a group of 20 patients affected by systemic allergy to this sensitizer element and with a chronic relapsing low hemoglobin level and haematocrit count. We obtained interesting results en maintaining these values in treated patients.
