Abstract
The authors present the results of TURP performed on patients with small obstructive adenomas, which allowed anterograde ejaculation to be preserved in over 80% of the cases. The technique, involving supramontanal prostate tissue sparing, was developed following new findings using endorectal ultrasonography during ejaculation, which revealed the absence of the accumulation stage. Contraction during ejaculation of the preserved portion of the prostate enables anterograde ejaculation to be preserved without causing a significant obstacle to micturition.
