This work describes a joint approach, i.e. ultrasonographic and fluoroscopic for performing percutaneous nephrostomy in treating hydronephrosis caused by obstructive uropathy. This technique has proved to be fast and simple, without any complications or only very slight ones (transitory haematuria) and has never lasted over 10 minutes, even for bilateral drainages.
