— A new simple one-stage urethroplasty called “double purpose penile skin advancement” is described, as well as a preoperative test to select suitable candidates. The procedure is applicable only to patients with distal hypospadias, without chordee, having an adequately mobile ventral proximal penile skin. It is specially indicated for those patients with deficient or previously circumcised dorsal hood skin. This operation has been performed 12 times without complications of stricture or fistula formation.
